The Blizzard Thunderbird Sport Ti is a frontside carving ski for advanced to expert skiers that enjoy quick, dynamic turns on groomed or hard-packed conditions. The Thunderbird Sport Ti is an incredibly precise and powerful ski that provides a premium carving experience. This ski starts with Blizzard's TrueBlend On-Piste wood core which provides tons of power throughout the ski. The wood core gets topped with a Titanal laminate which adds stability and stiffness to the ski, allowing you to really drive these things through a turn. From a construction standpoint these skis are fairly simple, and the same thing can be said about their shape. It's about as traditional as it gets, which is great for a carving ski like this. A full-camber shape gives you a true tip-to-tail carve, allowing you to maximize the ski's effective edge for steadfast grip even on icy or firm conditions. At 76 millimeters under the boot, these skis are lightening quick edge to edge which gives them a nice energetic feel coming out of a turn. The Thunderbird Sport Ti has a slightly shorter radius than the Thunderbird R15 so if you like a nice tight turn, this is probably the better bet.
